Where Childhood Is Crafted As A Masterpiece

Admission

Welcome! Choosing the right early childhood program is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child.

At Rainbow Montessori Preschool, we are dedicated to offering a boutique educational experience where children thrive in a calm, intentional, and intellectually rich environment.

Our program is Affiliated and Verified by the American Montessori Society for high-fidelity to the Montessori methodology, authenticity and proven impact to children's developmental outcomes.

Because we operate as a peaceful sanctuary designed to protect young nervous systems and foster deep focus, our admissions process is intentionally designed to ensure a mutual, harmonious fit between your family and our school community.

The Child's Readiness & Fitness

At Rainbow Montessori Preschool, we are deeply committed to maintaining a calm, safe, and joyful environment where every child can thrive. Authentic AMS-Verified Montessori program relies on an independent work cycle, mixed-age collaboration, and self-directed learning. Our program is best suited for children who show basic developmental readiness:

  • Safely navigate a group setting for the well-being of themselves, their peers, and our staff.

  • Safely respond to gentle guidance from teachers.

  • Participate harmoniously without causing severe or ongoing disruption to the calm, focused classroom atmosphere.

During our admissions process, we take time to get to know your child’s unique personality and developmental stage to ensure our environment is the absolute best fit for their growth.

Our AMS-Verified Early Childhood curriculum is meant for children 2.5 - 6 years old. Dr. Maria Montessori explains that children between 2.5 - 3 years old enter a sensitive period for conscious learning of order, social behavior, math, language and intensified knowledge. However, children show developmental readiness at their own pace.

We believe that enrolling a child in an environment where they are not yet thriving or ready can cause unnecessary stress for the child and family. It's crucial that we consider the child's readiness. Additionally, if our tour reveals that a child would be better served by a different setting (such as a high-ratio, high-energy, play-based program) at this particular stage, we will always share that honestly to ensure you find the absolute best match for your child's growth.

Process

We keep our enrollment intimate and unhurried. To maintain our low ratios and protect the unique culture of our classrooms, we follow a personalized 5-step admissions path:

1. Schedule an Admission Consultation

The best way to experience our low-stimulus learning environment is to start with a conversation. We invite you to fill out our Interest Form to schedule a brief introductory phone or video consultation. This allows us to share our core philosophy—cultivating independence, responsibility, intrinsic motivation and a vast array of knowledge through a low-pressure, gentle approach—while ensuring our professional program is a robust, intellectually rich and potentially fit for your family.

2. Family Observation Visit & Tour

Following our initial conversation, we invite prospective students and their parents to experience our learning environment in person. During this 30-to-45-minute guided visit, parents remain present to observe our morning work cycle, and we observe the child's readiness to engage with materials, respond to gentle guidance, and comfortably navigate a shared group setting. We also walk through our facility, review our daily rhythm, and answer all questions you may have.

3. Mutual Fit & Enrollment Offer

Once we confirm that our school is a harmonious match for your child and family's needs, you will receive our complete enrollment packet. This includes our community standards, mandatory immunization and state regulatory policies, and enrollment agreements designed to protect the peace and safety of our classroom community.

4. Official Onboarding & Orientation

Upon completing your enrollment paperwork and securing your tuition commitment, your child's spot in our community is officially reserved. We will then guide you through our onboarding steps to prepare for a smooth, confident first day of school.

5. Family Orientation & Montessori Home Alignment

Newly enrolled families are invited to exclusive Montessori Orientation to discuss deeply about Montessori methodology, program characteristics, curriculum design and implementation of Montessori core values at home. This process ensures the consistency that support child's ultimate development and adaptation while strengthening a special parent-school partnership.

Tuition Information

We believe in complete transparency and high value. Our all-inclusive program covers our core rigorous academic, AMS-verified Montessori morning work cycle as well as our robust afternoon enrichment suite—including Spanish, Vietnamese, Music, Art, STEM experiments and daily physical education.

To ensure we dedicate our time and attention to families who are genuinely aligned with our educational vision, our detailed tuition rate sheet and financial investment schedule are shared exclusively after the Admission Consultation appointment.

  • Note: Because we are an AMS-verified boutique micro-school that prioritizes intimate class sizes, low student-to-teacher ratios, and an undisturbed learning environment, admission spaces are limited.
